The University of Chicago Physics department website has a lot of important information. This information ranges from faculty pages (sorted by types of research), to class scheduling for the current calendar year. Students should also look for the page on Tips on Getting into Research.
NSF REU database
Most Research Experiences for Undergraduate Programs are listed on this site. Try applying for them to get fun opportunities for the summer.
Summer opportunities for international students
The above link is much like the REU link but for international students. It should be noted that for a few jobs (such as ones at National Laboratories), there are a few extra hurdles to jump but this shouldn't be a reason not to apply!
