Regular Meetings
Our regular meetings are on Monday evenings at 6:00pm in KPTC 206, the second floor lounge.
Typically, these meetings consist of pizza followed by a student presentation. The topics for these presentations range over all aspects of physics and may include information about research in which the student is participating, summaries of a published article, or blatant improvisation based on material from wikipedia.
Thai Movie Night
Frequently we hold a movie night at the end of each quarter. Members enjoy a substantial quantity of thai food from a local restaurant and watch a movie that is (tangentially) related to physics. Past selections include The Core, Red Dawn, and Chain Reaction.
